Philip K. Dick’s Exegesis is a vast body of private, largely unpublished writing. This project applies computational text analysis to that corpus and finds a clear directional structure running through it.
Overview
This project treats Philip K. Dick’s unpublished Exegesis as a corpus for computational analysis rather than close reading alone. Applied across the manuscript, the analysis reveals a clear directional structure in how its central themes develop.
Current status
The analysis is complete and was presented at an academic conference. A manuscript reporting the method and results is in preparation; further detail will follow publication.
